Summer has been good,if not very good in parts.The sun has been out more than it has been in.The rain has fallen mainly at night,and everything is emerald green.The Irish were very shrewd in capturing the ‘Emerald Isle’ as a handle.Overseas visitors are blown away by our lush foliage here.
Yesterday we sat on Langland beach,it was gorgeous,busy,but not packed,jolly, but not rowdy.The tide was in, a little breeze kept it pleasant,and I we felt as though we were holidaymakers.
The weather forecast is very good for this week, so perhaps we will have the ‘barbeque summer’ we were promised last year!

Hi everyone.
This years overnight Grading visit went well.We have easily retained our 4 Stars from Visit Wales.
It is allways a bit of a nailbiter, but the inspector was very kind, and she did praise the beds, and the breakfast.That is what we do here, all the bits in between are less important to us.We have no desire to move it on up to 5 Stars,or slip down to 1 star either!
We are looking forward to a good summer season,it cant come fast enough now.The temperature has finally started to creep up,even though it has bought a smattering of rain with it, it is nice not to have to wear the skiing gear any longer.So fingers crossed, we are due a hot one!
